What is a rackmount monitor?

Rackmount monitor is a specially designed monitor to meets the industrial environmental requirement. It can handle vibration, dust, and huge temperature difference in a factory or harsh environment setting. A typical Rackmount monitor can cost from couple hundred to thousands of dollars depends of the features you want.

Not all of your application needs to use an expensive rackmount monitor. A simple LCD monitor might just do the job. Here is where our RLCD-FRAME2 comes in. RLCD-FRAME2 provides a simple, low cost means to mount standard or wide screen LCD monitor into a standard 19” rack enclosure. It supports standard LCD monitor up to 18”. As long as your LCD monitor is not wider than 17.36”, you can flush mount it. If you need to use a wide screen monitor, you can readjust our RLCD-FRAME2 bracket to extend it outward. This gives you additional clearance between your monitor and front side of your rack cabinet. For a non- flush mount setup, it supports Wide Screen monitor up to 32 inch*

The key advantage for using our RLCD-FRAME2 is the flexibility to use any type of standard LCD or wide screen monitor with VESA mount support (either 75mm x 75mm or 100mm x 100mm) on the market that does not exceed max weight of 15 LB. You are not locked into a propriety LCD rackmount monitor. Using a standard LCD monitor gives you more video interface options such as VGA, DVI, HDMI, display port, or S-Video connector. In addition, you can also select monitor that comes with build in speaker or touch screen features. These features can be a huge cost saving for you compares with using a rackmount LCD monitor with the same features.

RLCD-FRAME2 offers all of the features associated with monitor arm. You can tile up or down, rotate to right or left side, and change from land scape to portrait mode for any VESA LCD monitors. Monitor can be installed inside, recessed or outside of any standard 19” server rack mounting rail. The ability to adjust monitor depth in a server rack is game changer for any application. In addition, RLCD-FRAM2’s monitor arm is detachable which makes servicing or upgrading LCD monitor piece of cake.

ADD INTEL NUC COMPUTER TOO

RLCD-FRAME2 includes a new feature which allows you to mount your Intel NUC computer or similar ultra compact computer with your LCD monitor in the same rack. RLCD-FRAME2 has 75mm x 75mm mounting holes on right and left side for your NUC computer's VESA mounting bracket. Now you have a place to put your NUC and keep your rack organized without buying additional shelf.

Best of all, you can upgrade your LCD monitor or LCD TV at any time to newer generation screen such as new 4KHD with our RLCD-FRAME2-K2. If you are using a rackmount monitor, there is no upgrade path.
