Overview

IAB108 provides a simple, low cost solution to enable you to extend your cabinet’s vertical mounting rails inward or outward for your rack equipment. IAB108 is a two-piece design for adjustability as well as weight support. The ”L“ shape bracket offers adjustability for your 19” or 23" rack or cabinet. It offers many mounting holes and OB holes for fine depth adjustment. The 2nd piece is using our IAB104 with enhanced mounting holes on it. IAB104 offer excellent weight support due to the “U” Shape design. Combinations of both with 10-32 rack screws and hex nuts offer excellent weight support without adding additional cost. It allows you to extend a section of the cabinet mounting rails to accommodate your rack equipment.

IAB108 is ideal for situation where your rackmount equipment cannot reach rear vertical mounting rails. If you cannot readjust your rear vertical mounting rails, IAB108 gives you the additional 4" to 8 1/4" extension you need to properly installing your rackmount equipment.

By installing IAB at front, it pushes your rackmount equipment outward upto 8". This setup is ideal for mounting LCD monitor or rack equipment which has wider front facing panel. You can also use it as a way to create 8" gap behind filler panel for cable accessing.
