RSF1010 2 Post Cantilever Vented Rack Shelf provides a simple, low cost means to support a light to medium weight equipment in a standard 19" EIA rack. Ideal for testing equipment, audio equipment, video equipment, keyboards, laptops, notebook, CRT or LCD monitors, laser, inkjet printer, network switches, telecom equipment , and laboratory equipment for researchers.
It can be mounted in a standard 19” 2 Post relay rack or 4 Post cabinet. Total usable surface area is 14”(D) x 17” (w) with hight of 3.5”. You can mount it either with flat surface on top or reverse the shelf and mount with the bend edges on top. The unit is constructed with a 16 AWG cold roll steel with maximum shelf load at 50lbs.

This setup is ideal for equipment smaller than the maximun width and deepth of the shelf. The bend edge helps to prevent the equipment from sliding off the shelf. If you need to seure your equipment in a virbration environment, RSF1010 might be a better choose.
This setup gives you flat surface to put your equipment.
