RSF1031K5 4 Post fixed mount Rack Shelf provides a simple, low cost solution to support a light to medium weight equipment in a standard 4 post 19" EIA rack. Ideal for testing equipment, audio equipment, video equipment, keyboards, laptops, notebook, rackmount computer, Desktop or Mini Tower Computer, CRT or LCD monitors, laser, inkjet printer, network switches, telecom equipment , and laboratory equipment for researchers.

What is a fixed rackmount shelf ?

A fixed rackmount shelf is a shelf that screw directly to the front and back of the vertical mounting flanges in the rackmount cabinet in a fixed position. If you want to remove the shelf, you will need to unscrew the four rack screws first.

There are two version of fixed shelf available on the market. On is fixed depth shelf and other is fixed depth shelf with adjustable rear mount sliding bracket. Our RSF1031K5 is the 2nd version. The adjustable rear mount bracket allows you to mount the shelf in to an enclosure up to 30” in depth. If your shelf does not come with an adjustable rear mount sliding bracket, you will have difficult time finding the right depth shelf.

What makes RSF1031K5 different from other rack shelf?

RSF1031K5 is design with convenience in mind. We design our fixed shelf to be versatile in any situation.

RSF1031K5 offers a unique DUAL Depth™ design. You can use RSF1031K5 in both a very short depth or a regular depth enclosure. In the SHORT depth configuration, our rack shelf offers 17”(D) x 16.81”(W) of shelf space. It is ideal for compact enclosure such as wall mount enclosure. The minimum depth for your enclosure is 18”. In the EXTENDED depth configuration, our rack shelf offers 23.35”(D) x 16.81”(W) of shelf space. The minimum depth for your enclosure is 24.5”. Our unique design gives you the ability to easily integrate our rack shelf into your existing enclosure effortlessly.

The 2nd unique feature is the wire access ports located at rear top side of the shelf. RSF1031K5 offer 2 wire access ports for your power cable, USB Cable, Network Cable or another type of cables. The cables goes under the rack shelf and exit at the wire access ports at the rear. This feature helps you to better organize your data cable and shelf space.

Finally, safety is the most important part of our design. Unlike other rack shelf manufacture, we include cable strap anchor system to prevent your bulky equipment from sliding out due to vibration. Up to 6 cable strap anchors can be installed from front to back of the rack shelf. These anchors ensure your safety as well as protects your equipment from unnecessary damages.
